Description

The Entrance Lodge to Chestnut Lodge, built around 1830, is a single-storey structure with a T-shaped plan. It is constructed of stucco and features a slate roof, with stacks located at the rear right and left side. Each side of the lodge has one glazing bar sash window. To the left, there is a part-glazed door set within a gabled porch that also has a slate roof. There are 20th-century flat-roofed additions at the rear. This building is included in the register for its group value.
