Description

Clive House is a mid-18th century house, extensively altered since its original construction. It's built of red brick with a stone-coped parapet and a plain tiled roof, featuring end stacks. The building is two storeys high with an attic, with two flat-roofed dormers in the outer bays. Plat bands run horizontally over the ground and first floors. The front facade has three bays, displaying 19th-century leaded mullioned and transomed windows with gauged heads. A six-panel door is located at the left end, featuring a transom light, a pediment supported by panelled brackets, and Doric pilasters. Two wings extend at right angles to the rear of the main house.
