Description

This is a lamp post located 20 yards southeast of No. 85 in Whiteley Village, dating from around 1912. It is made of cast iron and features a square, four-legged plinth with a diagonal frame. The lamp post has a basket top that supports a tapering standard with a lantern, which is topped with a decorative finial and is held by a double scroll-work S-curve arm.
