Description
This is a lamp post located approximately 60 yards northeast of the Chaplaincy in Whiteley Village, dating from around 1912. It is made of cast iron and features a square four-legged base with a diagonally framed basket top. The lamp post has a tapering standard that supports a lantern, which is topped with a decorative finial and held by a doubled scroll-work S-curve arm.
