Description

The bridge over the River Ember, located on Hampton Court Way in East Molesey, was built in 1933 by Sir Edwin Lutyens. It is constructed of red brick with rendered and stone dressings. The bridge features a single span, with arches that are rendered underneath and have gauged brick above. At the base of the brick and stone parapet, there is an ashlar band topped with ashlar coping. The balustrade includes five panelled ashlar piers, and there is a stone shield displaying the date and coat of arms positioned over the crown of the arch.
