Description
City Farm's outbuilding, which includes a shelter shed and mixing house, dates back to around 1800. It is constructed from uncoursed limestone rubble and features a half-hipped stone slate roof. The building is one storey with a loft. On the front of the 4-bay shelter shed facing the foldyard, there are two 20th-century windows with timber lintels. The left gable wall has a plank door and another 20th-century window, both also with timber lintels. Inside, you can find chamfered beams and a loft supported by a sidepurlin roof. Attached to the left of the shelter shed is a limestone rubble wall, approximately 15 meters long, which encloses the foldyard behind City Farmhouse. This outbuilding is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
