Description
Staytes Farm Cottage is a cottage located in Lower Upton, likely dating from the 17th century. It is constructed of rubble with a Cotswold stone roof and consists of a single cell. On the west side, there is a 2-light hollow chamfer mullion window on the first floor, complete with a label, and a similar or 3-light window on the ground floor that has been altered by the insertion of a ledged door. To the left, there is a stair-light. The south gable end features 20th-century mullion windows. On the east side, there is a first-floor window matching the one on the west, and a large buttress, likely added in the 19th century, with another buttress to the north.
