DUCKLINGTON CHURCH STREET SP3507 (North side) 18/76 Church Farmhouse and Church 12/09/55 View (Formerly listed as Church Farm House, Church View)

GV II

Two houses. Late C16/early C17. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled thatch roof, hipped to left; external stone right end stack, and stone and C19 brick ridge stacks. 3-unit through-passage plan. One storey and attic; 4-window range. Timber lintels over C20 door and casements, and over two late C19/early C20 two-light casements with glazing bars to right; C20 dormer casements. Early C17 two-light chamfered stone-mullioned windows in right gable. C17 rear right wing, with late C17/early C18 bay to rear: has concrete tile roof and brick end stack; of one storey and attic with one- light window in heavy pegged frame, 2-light wood-mullioned windows, and bread oven projection to rear. Interior: front range has stop-chamfered beam and C17 winder stairs adjoining remodelled open fireplace in central room. Rear range not inspected but likely to be of interest.
