Description

Manor Farmhouse, located on the south side of Witney Road in Ducklington, dates to the late 17th century, with later 19th-century alterations. The farmhouse is constructed of squared and coursed limestone with a gabled stone slate roof, featuring both original 17th-century stone ridge stacks and late 19th-century brick end stacks. It has a 3-unit plan and a long, 3-window front. The farmhouse is two storeys and has an attic. A timber lintel sits over late 19th-century half-glazed doors, each protected by a gabled stone slate hood, in the end bays. Late 19th-century three-light casement windows with glazing bars, and two late 19th-century smaller windows are topped with chamfered timber lintels. There are two gabled roof dormers, each containing a 2-light casement window. A late 19th-century outshut and a single-storey range with Tudor-style doors and windows extend to the rear. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
