Description

This barn, located approximately 20 meters north of Lower Dornford Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled asbestos sheet roof. The barn has a five-bay plan with a central threshing floor. A segmental stone arch with a timber lintel is positioned over 20th-century double doors. Inside, there is a collar-truss roof supported by butt purlins. The barn is included in the listing for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
