Description
West End is an early 18th-century house constructed from coursed limestone rubble with a stone slate roof and stone end stacks, each featuring two flues. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic, displaying a two-window range. A 19th-century brick arch is positioned over a 20th-century glazed door. The first floor features 19th-century three-light casements, while the ground floor has 20th-century casements; there are also two gabled roof dormers. To the right, there is an early to mid-18th-century two-storey bay with a half-hipped roof and a 20th-century lean-to. A mid-19th-century extension is located at the rear. Inside, the house has chamfered beams and a wooden bressumer above a small open fireplace. A winder staircase leads up to the attics.
