Description

West Close Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof with a stone ridge stack. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high with a two-window range. To the right, there is a C19 plank door with a timber lintel above it, and timber lintels also span the C19 and C20 three-light casements. At the rear, there is a C19 outshut. Inside, the farmhouse includes chamfered beams and a winder staircase that leads up to the attics.
