Farmhouse, now house. Probably early C18, extended early to mid-C19 with later additions and alterations. Uncoursed limestone rubble; stone slate roof. Original 3-bay C18 house extended to left in C19. Two storeys and attic. C18 part has 3-window front; C20 casements with wood lintels; 2 raking eaves dormers in middle of roof slope. Central C20 half-glazed door under contemporary open gabled timber porch. Integral ashlar end stack with dripstone and capping to right and similar ridge stack (formerly an end stack) to left at junction with C19 addition (straight joint). This has a C20 casement to each floor but is said formerly to have been stables with hayloft above. Gabled range attached to right gable end has roof raised in artificial stone slates to front. Short gabled range at right-angles to rear of main range. Interior. Not inspected at time of resurvey (May 1987) but likely to be of interest. [2352]
