Description

This is a cottage, likely dating from the late 17th or early 18th century, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed of roughly coursed limestone rubble, with a stone slate roof. The cottage originally had a two-cell layout. It is a single storey with an attic. The windows are 20th-century three-light leaded casements, flanking a 20th-century gabled stone porch containing a 17th or 18th century plank door, the window surrounds retaining 18th-century wedged stone heads. There are two gabled dormers, each with 20th-century three-light leaded casements, one on either side of the roof. Integral end stacks are present, the right-hand stack featuring a dripstone, while the left-hand stack is 20th century. A late 20th century flat-roofed addition to the rear is not considered to be of architectural significance.
