Description

This barn, located approximately 20 metres to the northeast of The Old Rectory, dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed from banded squared marlstone and limestone rubble, topped with a corrugated-asbestos roof. The barn has a four-bay plan and features opposed full-height doors positioned to the left of centre. The other bays contain triangular ventilation openings, while vertical slits can be found at the rear. There is a loft door in the gable. The interior retains the principal timbers of the roof. This barn is included for its group value with nearby structures.
