Description

Jonathan Fyson Antiques is a cottage with shop premises located on the west side of Burford and Upton High Street, dating from the mid-19th century. The building features a front made of coursed rubble and a Cotswold stone roof. It has two storeys and an attic, with a gabled dormer. On the first floor, there is a central window with a segmental head and glazing-bar sashes. The ground floor has a late 19th-century shop front, which includes tended upper corners to the glazing of the shop windows and door. To the right, there is an alleyway entry, and the stairs inside feature re-used early 18th-century balusters from the first landing. At the rear, there is an extension with a cellar underneath.
