Description
R J Barnard is a cottage with shop premises located on the west side of Burford and Upton High Street. It has medieval origins but was likely refronted in the mid 19th century. The building features irregular rubble construction and extends partly from the house to the north, topped with a slate roof. It is designed in an L-plan and consists of two storeys. The first floor has one sash window with a single vertical glazing bar, while the ground floor includes a plain shop window and a door to the left, which is topped with a wooden lintel.
