Description

Number 12 and access to 14A is a house and shop located in a row on New Street in Chipping Norton. It was rebuilt in the mid-19th century and is constructed from coursed and dressed rubble with ashlar quoins. The roof is covered with machine-made tiles, and there is a chimney on the left with a stone base. The building has three storeys and features a full-height bay window on the left, which has plain casements from the late 20th century. There is a ledged door to the alley on the left, set beneath a heavy lintel. This building is included in the register for its group value only.
