Description

Nos. 14 and 14A on Westgate is a building from the early 19th century that serves as two shops. It is three stories tall and features a parapet. The facade has three windows with segmental brick arches, flush frames, and glazing bars. In the center, there is a round-headed doorway with panelled splays and soffit, a six-panelled door, and an ornamental fanlight. The doorway is flanked by a modern shop window. There is a plaque at the side of the building that reads "F.F. 1878," which likely indicates alterations made to the property.
