Description

The Midland Bank, located at 88 Westgate, is an early 19th-century building that stands three stories tall and is constructed of stucco. It features a two-story extension on the south side. The building has stone bands at the window sills and a moulded cornice on both the extension and the main structure, topped with a stone parapet that includes five panels. There are five windows on the main building and two on the extension, all framed with moulded stone architraves. The entrance is accentuated by two porches designed in a plain Roman Doric style.
