Description
York Cottage and Burford Bakery are a cottage and converted outbuilding from the 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. York Cottage is constructed from coursed and squared rubble, while Burford Bakery is made of plain rubble, both topped with a Cotswold stone roof. York Cottage has two storeys and an attic, featuring a gabled dormer and two windows with keystones. The windows are sashes with single vertical glazing bars, paired on the ground floor to the left. To the right, there is a 20th-century flush-panel door with a bracketed flat hood, and 20th-century casements on the west return, which was previously a party wall. Burford Bakery is lower in height, has an uneven ridge, and is angled towards the road. It features a large gabled half-dormer, a large entry to the left, and a 20th-century shop front to the right.
