Description

Plum Tree Cottage is a cottage or small house, likely with a front facade that was remodelled in the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of rubble stone with a roof of Cotswold stone. The cottage is two storeys high with an attic, and features a gabled dormer window. It has two windows on the first floor, with 16-pane sashes, and a 20-pane sash window on the ground floor to the left. A shallow angled bay window is located to the right. An earlier doorway, dating back to approximately 1700, is chamfered and located to the right of the centre, featuring a four-panel door. An ashlar chimney is situated on the left-hand side, joining the cottage to the adjacent house.
