Description

This is a house, originally possibly dating from the early 18th century, and altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It was formerly subdivided and was previously listed as Ivydene (reference 7/330). The construction is of coursed squared limestone rubble with wooden lintels, topped by a Welsh-slate roof with brick end stacks. The building has a 2-unit plan. The front facade, which has two bays, features short sash windows with six panes to each floor, with the exception of a projecting 20th-century window to the left at first floor level. A chamfered stone doorway is located to the left of the centre, and a blocked doorway, likely an insertion, is positioned to the right. The building is included on the list for group value.
