Description
This is a house located at 1 Church Green, built in the early 18th century with later alterations. It features coursed limestone rubble and a gabled stone slate roof, with a rear stack made of stone finished in brick. The house has a three-unit plan, two storeys, and an attic, with a four-window range. To the left, there is a timber lintel above a carriage entry. Above a 20th-century six-panelled door with an overlight, there is a flat stone arch with multiple key blocks. On either side of the door are early 19th-century canted bay windows with sash windows. The first floor has timber lintels over six-pane sash windows, and there are three hipped roof dormers featuring 20th-century two-light casements. At the rear, there is a gabled projection with a stack. Inside, there are stop-chamfered beams in the carriage entry, though only a partial inspection of the interior has been conducted.
