Description

Woodcote is a house that has been converted into a shop and dwelling, dating from the 17th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a 19th-century stucco front. The building features a gabled concrete tile roof that is cross-gabled at the front, along with brick stacks located internally. The layout is double-depth, and it stands two storeys tall with an attic, displaying a two-window range and a double-gabled front. The shop front and windows were added in the 20th century, while the attic has mid to late 19th-century trefoil-headed lights. Inside, there is a chamfered beam at the rear, although only a partial inspection of the interior has been conducted. The building is included for its group value.
