Description

This barn, dating from the 17th century, is located approximately 20 meters northeast of Pinnocks Farmhouse, which is not included in this listing. It features weatherboard cladding over a timber frame, resting on a limestone rubble plinth, and has a gabled roof made of asbestos sheets. The barn has a four-bay plan and includes corrugated iron doors to the right of an outshut made from similar materials. Inside, the barn has queen-post trusses that flank a threshing floor; the truss on the left includes a collar and 20th-century struts. There are two levels of clasped purlins supported by windbraces.
