Description
Windrush Farmhouse and the attached barn range is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof with a stone stack at the junction with the rear wing. The building is designed in an L-shape with a rear left wing and has two storeys with a two-window range. The central 20th-century door is topped by a gabled stone slate hood, and there are 20th-century windows. The two-storey rear left wing connects to a long 18th-century barn and stable range. Inside, the front block is noted for its chamfered beams and winder stairs that adjoin the stack.
