Description

No. 5, West Street, is a mid-18th century shop constructed of coursed and squared rubble stone with stone dressings and quoins, and covered by a gabled machine tiled roof. The building is three storeys high and has a two-window front. The upper floor windows retain blocked dressings with projecting keystones that extend to a plain cornice. All windows are 12-pane sashes. The roadside facade was originally stuccoed. A 20th-century shop front now occupies the ground floor.
