Description

The eastern gatepier, dating from the 18th century, is located approximately 20 meters northwest of the Old Rectory. It is constructed from marlstone ashlar and features a square shape with rusticated sides and a shallow pyramidal cap. This gatepier is one of a pair that marks the entrance to the Old Rectory and is included in the listing for its group value.
