Description
No. 16 High Street is an 18th-century house that may include parts of an earlier structure. The building features a rendered plinth on the left side and painted stone uncoursed rubble on the ground floor to the right, with painted brick above. It has an old plain-tile roof and a central brick ridge stack. The house is two stories tall and has three windows across its front. There is a plank door located to the left of the center, which is sheltered by a lean-to hood made of plain tiles. On the ground floor, there is a 4-pane window to the left and two-light casements in the center and to the right, each with segmental brick heads. The first floor has two-light casements in the center and to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
