Description
This memorial, located approximately 20 metres southwest of the Church of Holy Trinity, was created around 1911. It features a stone carving with a stone base. The memorial depicts a recumbent figure of a man in dress uniform, complete with a cloak, decorations, and a sword, with his hands clasped on his chest. A winged female figure kneels beside him, holding his head, while three praying children are positioned at his feet. The inscription on the base reads: "Robert Hamilton Lindsay, 3rd Son of 26th Earl of Crawford, Born 1874, Died 1911. Mary Janet, 3rd Daughter of Sir William John Clarke, Bart. of Ruperts Wood, Australia, Born 1874, Died 1960. Be strong and of a good courage, be not afraid neither..."
