Description
Ardington Mill House is a farmhouse that has been converted into two dwellings. It dates from the mid-17th century and underwent some alterations in the late 19th century. The house features a rendered plinth and small timber-framing, with some late 19th-century work and roughcast infill. It has an old plain-tile roof and a brick ridge stack located to the right of the center. Originally, the house had a three-unit lobby-entry plan. It is two stories high and has a four-window range. To the right of the center, there is a six-panel part-glazed door with a 20th-century open lean-to porch. All openings have three-light casements, except for a two-light casement on the first floor to the right of the center. The ground floor windows are adorned with wood hoodmoulds. The interiors have not been inspected.
