Description
Godwin is a house dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a thatched roof with 20th-century brick stacks. The original layout of the house is not clearly determined. The building is one storey high with an attic and has a four-window range. There are timber lintels over a blocked doorway and a 20th-century light to the left, along with two early 20th-century three-light casements and a one-light casement. The half dormers also contain two early 20th-century three-light casements. The roof is gabled with stacks at the gable ends. To the left, there is a lean-to and a thatched extension from the 18th century. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
