Description
Thatched Cottage is a house that features a 19th-century front built onto a 17th-century structure. The building is constructed of red brick, with an old plain-tile roof on the front slope and a thatched roof on the rear slope and ridge. There is a brick ridge stack located to the right of the center and an end stack on the left. The cottage is two stories high and has a three-window range that is positioned at right angles to the street. To the left of the center, there is a four-panel door that is sheltered by a 20th-century open porch with a hipped plain-tile roof. All openings have three-light casements, except for a 20th-century bow window on the ground floor to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
