Description
This barn, located approximately 10 metres north of Common Farmhouse, dates back to 1793, as indicated on a tie beam. The side walls are weatherboarded over a light timber frame set on a brick plinth, while the gable walls are constructed of Flemish bond brick. The roof is made of corrugated asbestos and features a half-hipped design. The barn consists of three bays with a central threshing floor. Inside, there is a brick threshing floor and a collar-truss roof supported by side struts and butt purlins. This barn is noted for its dated example of late 18th century timber framing.
