Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of chalk ashlar with a stone slate roof at the front and slate on the rest of the building, featuring a limestone ashlar stack. The farmhouse has a two-unit lobby entry plan and is two storeys high with a three-window range. The windows have cambered arches made of chalk voussoirs, with a central projecting key above a 20th-century porch that leads to a 20th-century front door with a semi-circular arch above. The windows are three-light casements. The roof is gabled and includes a limestone ashlar stack.
Inside, there are late 18th-century four-panelled doors with moulded architraves. At the rear right, there is a two-bay mid-18th-century wing made of Flemish bond brick with a slate roof and a brick end stack, featuring cambered brick arches over a 20th-century door and casements. Additionally, there is a late 19th-century brick block parallel to the main range, which has a gabled slate roof.
