Description
Little Thatch is a house dating from the early 17th century. It is constructed of squared and coursed chalk on a sarsen base, topped with a thatched roof and featuring brick stacks. The building has a two-unit plan and is two stories high with a three-window range. On the ground floor, there are timber lintels over 20th-century casements, with one blocking a door. The first floor has original two-light casements, with cambered chalk arches of voussoirs above, although the center window is blocked. A brick storey band runs along the building, which has a gabled roof and end stacks. The interior has not been inspected. There is a 18th-century service wing at the rear.
