Description

No. 2 The Street is a house located in East Lockinge, dating from the early 18th century with 19th-century alterations. It features small timber framing with painted brick infill, and roughcast, likely on brick, to the left side. The roof is an old plain-tile half-hipped design with a central brick ridge stack. The building has a 2-unit lobby-entry plan and is two stories high with a two-window range. The central entrance has a plank door topped by a 19th-century gabled hood supported by brackets. All openings have 19th-century three-light wood mullion windows, with false dormers above the first-floor windows. The interior has not been inspected.
