Description
No. 12 on The Street is a house from the mid to late 17th century that has been extended. It features a timber frame with roughcast and a brick end wall, and originally had a thatched roof, which is now tiled. The building has a two-cell lobby entry design and stands two storeys high with two windows. The central entrance has a timber door, and the right ground floor window is a Yorkshire casement. The first floor windows are small three-light lattice casements. There is a central ridge stack, and the right return wall is brick below the eaves. The roof is half-hipped to the left, with tiles on the gable wall extending down to the eaves level. There is an extension at the rear on the left side, which includes an oven on the rear wall at the angle between the main block and the extension. The interior has not been inspected.
