Description
The barn at Wallington Chase, located 20 meters east of the house, is likely from the 18th century. It features a timber frame that is weatherboarded and has a half-hipped slate roof, consisting of five bays. The south elevation has small paned timber windows, while the west gable end has 20th-century entrances. Inside, there is a collar beam truss with double purlins that are clasped by collar beams and supported by struts from the tie beams. The posts are lightly jowled. A 20th-century car port has been added to the north side, and the east end of the barn adjoins the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary.
