Description
The Lodge is a house built in the mid-19th century as a lodge for Wallington Chase. It is constructed of red brick and features a patterned tiled roof. The building has two storeys and a gable end facing the road. On the west side, there is a gabled entrance porch located at the far right, which includes a window and a side entrance. The front has two small single light windows positioned centrally. The right return wall has two lights above two additional lights. The left return wall features one light above three lights, with a cat-slide roof covering a rear extension. All corners of the building are chamfered, and all openings have chamfered brick surrounds with hood moulds. The windows are small diamond-paned leaded casements, and the gables are adorned with wavy bargeboards. The interior has not been inspected.
