Description

This is a house located at Gozzard's Ford. It dates to 1770, as indicated by a stone over the door, and was built using coursed limestone rubble with a gabled roof of old tiles and brick end stacks. The building follows a two-unit outshut plan. It is two storeys high with a two-window front. The ground floor features flat stone arches above a 20th-century door and porch, and 20th-century three-light casement windows. The first floor has 20th-century two-light casement windows with timber lintels. A 20th-century dormer has been added to the roof. The interior, which has not been inspected, is said to contain chamfered beams and fireplaces with moulded overmantels.
