62 and 66 Barrow Road is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of uncoursed limestone rubble and features a gabled old tile roof with brick symmetrical end stacks. The building has a two-unit plan, is two storeys high with an attic, and presents a symmetrical three-window range. There is a segmental brick arch over a late 19th-century plank door with an overlight. The ground-floor windows have 20th-century flat brick arches, while the first-floor windows feature timber lintels over leaded cross windows flanking a single leaded light. A raised storey band is present, along with gabled roof dormers that have two-light leaded casements. At the rear, there is a left wing made of similar materials, which is one storey high with an attic. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
