Description

Manor Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century, with a later 18th-century bay added to the right. The front is roughcast, while the rear features Flemish bond brick with flared headers. It has a gabled roof covered with old tiles and brick stacks at each end. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high with a two-window range. There are segmental arches above 20th-century four-light casements to the left of a 19th-century plank door that has a pediment hood. The first floor features a three-light window with leaded and latticed panes. The later 18th-century bay to the right is made of uncoursed limestone rubble and has a hipped old tile roof. The cottage is included for its group value.
