Description

Old Place is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations made later. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a gabled stone slate roof and brick end stacks. The house has a double-depth plan and is arranged over two storeys and an attic. The front elevation has a symmetrical arrangement of three windows. A mid-19th century, keyed and round-arched architrave frames a six-panelled door with a fanlight above. Timber lintels top the six-pane sash windows. There are two hipped roof dormers. A similar rear range features sash windows. The interior was not inspected but is likely to be of historical interest.
