Description

This is a house located at 37 Common Slip in Chippenham, dating from the early 19th century, specifically after 1820. It is constructed of limestone rubble with a brick left return, featuring freestone quoins and plain surrounds. The roof is covered with swept double Roman tiles and has brick stacks at the gable ends. The house has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with a symmetrical three-window front. The windows and door are from the 20th century, with a six-pane fixed window above the door. On both floors, there are two-light stone-mullioned windows, each with six panes in the casements.
