Description

This is a barn dating from the late 17th or early 18th century, situated approximately 30 metres west of Chilswell Farmhouse. The barn is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with squared quoins, and features pup-log holes. It has a gabled roof covered in asbestos sheets, and follows a 3-bay plan, incorporating a central threshing floor. Inside, the barn has a 3-bay collar-truss roof.
