STEVENTON THE CAUSEWAY SU4691 (North side) 12/61 Barn approx. 10m N of Rookery Farmhouse

GV II

Barn, part now converted to garage. Probably mid C17, with later alterations. Stone uncoursed rubble and brick plinth; close-studded timber-framing with weather-boarding; corrugated metal sheeting to roof, hipped to left, half-hipped to right, 4-bay barn. Double doors to right of centre, C20 garage doors to right. Stable door to left of centre. C20 windows to left and to left of centre. Interior: double queen-post roof, with most common rafters replaced. Included for group value.
