Description
This barn, located approximately 10 meters north of Rookery Farmhouse, is likely from the mid-17th century and has undergone some alterations. It is constructed from uncoursed rubble stone with a brick plinth, featuring close-studded timber-framing and weather-boarding. The roof is covered with corrugated metal sheeting, hipped on the left side and half-hipped on the right, and the barn consists of four bays. There are double doors to the right of the center, modern garage doors to the right, and a stable door to the left of the center. Modern windows are present to the left and to the left of center. Inside, the barn has a double queen-post roof, although most of the common rafters have been replaced. This building is included for its group value.
