Description

This property comprises two dwellings, originally a single house, with a front range dating to the 16th century and a cross-wing added in the 17th century. A 19th-century addition extends to the left, and a 20th-century addition to the right. The front range is rendered, likely over a timber frame, and has an old plain-tile roof which is half-hipped on the right side. A stone ridge stack with brick coping sits to the left of centre, while a brick ridge stack is located to the right. The main facade has five windows with a two-storey, five-bay arrangement. A part-glazed door with a lean-to hood is situated on the left side, alongside two 19th-century bay windows with lean-to roofs. To the right of centre is a 20th-century bay window with a lean-to roof, and a three-light casement window with a lean-to hood at the right end. First-floor windows include two-light oriels supported by brackets, mimicking false gables, all except the one on the right side having wrought-iron finials. The 19th-century addition to the left is of red brick construction, with an old plain-tile roof and a two-storey, single-bay design, featuring 16-pane sash windows on both the ground and first floors. The interiors were not inspected.
