Description

This is a 17th-century house located on the north side of Brook Street, Sutton Courtenay. The house is constructed of uncoursed rubble stone with a plinth, and has large timber framing with painted brick infill. The roof is covered in old plain tiles, and there is a brick end stack to the right. The house is single-storey with an attic, and has a three-bay layout. A plank door is located to the right of centre. The windows are casements arranged irregularly. A flat-roofed dormer window has been added to the centre of the roof. The left return displays a queen-post roof truss. The interior has been inspected.
